introduction

Welcome to Break the Chains. We are a fiction/fantasy roleplaying forum just starting out that has many positions available to fill. We still have a long way to go in terms of getting everything completed, but that's why you - the roleplayer, our wonderful members - are here. We need your help! You see, this site is run by several of us here - detailed below - but we all have work, school, families, etc. Some things do slip our minds, so if you need clarification on anything, be sure to hit us up in the OOC chatbox! We are more than open to suggestions!

setting

Break the Chains is set in a post war world where females won a gender war that raged for several years. The world is similar to the one we live in today - except for one terrible thing: men are now alive for the sole purpose of being a Breeder. Of course there is a rebellion going on under the feet of the Director, the leader of this new world, but men are low and even being able to escape the underground tunnels for food or any type of resource proves to be a difficult challenge. Will you join the fight for freedom? Or are we all doomed to a world where men are shackled? Only we can Break the Chains.

Hello, everyone! And welcome to the new and improved Break the Chains! I just installed this skin earlier today and I finished getting the colors and everything else set up so that way we wouldn't have to look at pink and purple and could have our awesome red, gray, and white scheme back! Hooray! Also, a new banner, affiliate button, and advert will be gotten to us soon from the lovely folks at CAUTION 2.0, so that will be up soon too! Enjoy and look below for the in character news!

Welcome to the Association. We are pleased to inform you that for the next several months, we are going to have an event at the summer home of the Director. This event is extremely formal and requires dresses, suits and ties, and of course, masks. Yes, my fellow women: you are all invited to the Director's summer home for a masquerade ball. Feel free to look through our catalog for a date that you'd like to bring. But of course, if someone else has already claimed him, I'm afraid you're going to have to choose someone else. Also, for a limited time, we are hosting a 2 for 1 special including (and limited to only) Markus "Alpha" Flame and Lycaster "Asa" Hina.
