Zahra is a very independent creature, able to take care of herself and stand up for what she believes in. She has no problem with the way the world is run today and even enjoys herself. She's always trying the latest trends, always busy singing and dancing to improve herself and always determined to be a good role model. However, she at times, acts like a child, throwing tantrums to get her way.
She voices her opinions quite loud and  proudly, tells people what's up and holds nothing back, which at times can hurt the feelings of others.
At times, her moods can swing quite largely in which she could be happy one moment and very angry the next. She doesn't quite have the mind of a fully functioning adult and loathes adults really, especially her manager who wants nothing more than for her to sit down, shut up and do what she's told.
She adores her fans though, and adores the Breeder community, saying quote, "I wish I could have one to keep~". Another thing that she goes through is something affectionately called "Fashion Mode" in which she treats whoever is nearby like a dress up doll, putting them in clothing after clothing option until she is absolutely satisfied. This can last mere minutes or many hours.
She's not a fighter but as a dancer, she's very athletic and has really good endurance. She's strong enough to hold several shopping bags full of clothes, shoes, hats, belts, gloves, coats and more.

She was born to an African woman and her mother always got strange looks when other women saw her toting a baby who's skin was pale compared to her own beautiful dark skin. A couple of times, they even called the police, suspecting that she may have stolen the child from it's rightful parents and her mother learned to carry her daughter's birth certificate on her so that she could prove the the baby was hers. Her mother didn't have much growing up and didn't have much as she raised her child, trusting that she would end up the same as she was.
This was not the case though. As a child, Zahra was raised by her strict mother. It was a life of peace and solitude in which she was not allowed to have material things, but suppose to find happiness in herself. She hated her mother who was always pushing her weird Buddha religion on her and frantically reached for something to ease her boredom and loneliness. That's when she began singing and dancing.

She wasn't very good at first but she did her best. And her mother was behind her for a little while, getting her voice lessons and showing her off to her friends. And for a while, this was fine. But she soon became bored of being her mother's entertainment machine and dreamed of shooting for the stars and becoming an idol.
It was also the time when she began asking her mother all sorts of questions about her father, about why there were no fathers around at all. Her mother never did answer but Zahra started looking into it and discovered the Association. She read up on the information about the Breeders and decided to go there and look at the catalog.
On a day when her mother was away, she left the house and went to the building, flipping through the catalog until she came across a picture of a man that looked similar to her. He had blonde wavy hair and blue eyes like she did and she was told by the person at the desk, that he had a lovely singing voice.

She immediately picked him and was taken to one of the play rooms. When he arrived, she was certain that he was her father. That she was seeing her father for the first time; she didn't say anything though because she knew he could get into trouble if anyone found out. The whole time she avoided having sex, instead opting that they sing together. He told her she had a beautiful voice, the voice he wanted his daughter to have and she tried her best not to tear up.
It was then that she made the conscious decision to become that idol she wanted to be. He encouraged her to go after her dreams and she did. Her mother didn't approve one bit but at the age of eighteen, she no longer had control over her daughter and Zahra Melody Treble became Miss Melody Z, the Radiant Star of Music~
